Expand is partnered with a high-growth programmatic advertising company that has received significant investment and plans to double its headcount in 2024.

We are searching for a skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer, who as part of a successful engineering team responsible for Raw Measurement & Data Ingestion products.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish a well-structured foundation of data.
• Control Data Summarisation systems: Manage systems to produce structured summaries of previous days' traffic, enhancing scalability.
• Manage Dashboard report data layer: Ensure timely operation of client-facing reports by overseeing the data layer (LookML) of dashboard reports.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams (front end dashboards and APIs): Partner with engineering teams to deliver exceptional final client products through front-end dashboards and APIs.
• Maintain data pipelines: Oversee data pipelines and provide support for ad hoc business issues and requests.

Key Experience

• AWS Skills: Proficient in AWS services such as Athena, RedShift, SQL, and AWS Glue.
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK, with some dev ops experience.
• Data Visualization Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools like Looker for effective reporting and analysis.
