Beaucroft is expanding to accommodate more pupils throughout the school.

Beaucroft College, a brand new purpose built Post 16 facility based in School Lane, Wimborne, which opened in June 2023.

Beaucroft School, based in Wimborne Road, Colehill, will be adding two new classrooms in September 2023. These are exciting times for everyone involved with the school.


We are currently recruiting to expand our brilliant staff team and strengthening it further in all areas of the school and college.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who will be based at either Wimborne or Colehill with a "can do" attitude on either a full time basis or as part of the school's supply bank.


The role involves assisting the teacher and other teaching assistants in the development and implementation of a programme of work and in providing a stable, caring and supportive learning environment for the pupils.

You will be part of a team that is experienced and supportive where you can really get to know the pupils and your colleagues whilst working with pupils in small groups.

The role is very varied, with no one day being the same, whilst being extremely rewarding.


This is an opportunity to join our passionate, enthusiastic and 'Outstanding' team We are seeking a motivated, skilled and resilient person who has experience of supporting young people with SEND including those on the autistic spectrum.

They will have a flexible approach, exemplary communication skills and be able to meet the challenging needs of our young people.


The salary is based on Dorset Job Evaluation Grade 4 or 6 depending on experience, Spinal Column Point 4 to 9.

The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position, at the time of advert, based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements.

The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.

Beaucroft is a Foundation Special School that caters for children and young people between the ages of four and nineteen who are experiencing learning difficulties, including complex needs, and those with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
