    Millthorpe School is seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher and subject leader for PE. We are looking for a highly motivated colleague, with a proven record or the promise of outstanding practice, to enable our students to be the best that they can be. This is a really exciting opportunity for a current or aspiring leader to continue to shape a subject that is striving to be outstanding.

    You must be a highly effective and reflective teacher, with the confidence to teach both core PE across Key Stages 3 and 4 and GCSE Sports Studies. The successful candidate will also have excellent interpersonal skills and be committed to contributing to the personal development of all the young people we teach.

    The PE team at Millthorpe School consists of three experienced members of staff who are committed to promoting the long-term health and well-being of the young people of Millthorpe as well as the wider community. PE is part of the Performance Faculty which also includes Music and Drama. You will have responsibility for the PE curriculum and of course our hugely popular PE extracurricular opportunities.
