- Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks to junior members of the kitchen team
- Cooking and preparing high quality dishes whilst ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created.
- Assisting the Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes along with assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering.

Role Details
:As the Sous chef who will be a key player in the running of the kitchen team. You will have great social skills and be able to be managed and developed by the Head Chef, but also be able to be a leader to the rest of the small team. You will be focused on supporting and helping implement the day-to-day running of the kitchen to encompass the service, safety and high standards set by the Head Chef. You'll assist the Head Chef with new menus and dishes and will have your own creativity flair to constantly push for exciting new dishes whilst helping tweak the good old classics. You will also be expected to be able to run the kitchen in the absence of the Head chef when required.

Enjoy working as a part of a small friendly team
Experienced in working in a quality fresh food pub environment working with local suppliers and seasonal ingredients
Able to run the kitchen in the abscense of the head chef in a calm and measured manner.

Salary and Benefits
£37,000 based on a full-time 48 hour per week contract
