US law firm is looking to hire a new London Recruitment Manager, this is a brand new position for the firm.

This position will oversee all lateral attorney and business professional staff recruitment for our London office.

In conjunction with the SeniorGlobal Recruitment team, the London Managing Partner, the London Recruitment Partner and the Director of Administration you will be responsible to develop and manage a proactive recruiting strategy to recruit top-tier talent.

This position will report directlyto the Senior Director of Firmwide Recruiting and collaborate with the firmwide recruiting team. The firm is looking for an experienced, highly skilled and enthusiastic recruitment professional.

Applicants need to have experience of working within a law firmwhere you have managed and organised the recruitment process from start to finish.

Salary is flexible dependent upon experience. This firm is housed in offices central to the City and walking distance from all City mainline train stations.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain the law firm's recruiting policies and procedures to achieve firmwide goals
  • Collaborate with the Senior Global Recruitment team to develop and implement a proactive lateral recruiting strategy
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with legal search and recruitment firms to promote the firm
  • Manage all aspects of lateral hiring and onboarding for the London office
  • Plan, oversee and manage the London Trainee Programme, with the office's external consultants
  • Oversee onboarding, orientation, and integration for all new hires

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in professional legal recruitment or career development within a law firm
  • CIPD, REC or equivalent qualification is preferred
  • Extensive experience in fullcycle recruiting, specifically managing all aspects of the attorney recruitment process, strategy development, and onboarding and integration.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to exercise professional judgement, and ability to work effectively on the Firmwide Recruiting Team
  • Ability to work independently and with integrity in alignment with the firm's culture
  • Excellent presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with all attorneys and staff across the Firm
