We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Administrator / Operations Administration Assistant who has excellent organisational, communication, administrative, customer service and time-management skills with intermediate Microsoft Office / 365, Word and Excel skills.
Working as the Administrator / Operations Administration Assistant you will provide administrative support to the Operational functions of the business as well as be the primary interface between the customer and company.
As the Administrator / Operations Administration Assistant you will be logical and analytical with your approach to tasks, be a great team player with a high attention to detail.

DUTIES
Your duties as an Administrator / Operations Administration Assistant will include:
Use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Office, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Access, etc, produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases
Liaise with staff in other departments and with external contacts
Photocopy and print various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues
Data Entry
Organise and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information
Ensure timely, reliable and factual communications with customers
Log customer contacts
Liaise closely with (pre-vetting, traffic management, Operations) to ensure enquiries are processed within agreed timescales
Manage the receipt, analysis & processing of customer complaints & contacts
Include liaising with the customer where necessary, & responding to the customer with delivery promises
Monitor & report on delivery performance & to escalate delivery issues to the Contracts Manager against agreed delivery promises
Communicate deliveries & provide regular status reports to the customer within agreed timeframes
Keep accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers
Print and make up work packs, maps and raising orders
Meet & exceed wherever possible the defined levels of customer service
Work closely with the Administrative Supervisor to improve the departmental performance including any system improvements
Be the primary interface between the customer and the company
Demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to working as part of the team to ensure standards and deadlines are achieved
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Intermediate (minimum) skill level in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel - (Essential)
English & Maths, academic achievement
National 5 (N5) / GCSE's Maths and English (or equivalent)
Previous administrational experience would be advantageous
Team working skills
Able to work under pressure and deliver results to a defined deadline
