Working within a supportive team, improving the lives of older people could be for you?

Responsible for preparing appetising meals for our care home residents, you will have a passion for cooking and will want to deliver great menus that understand the challenges of catering for older, vulnerable people some of whom may have poor appetites.

But you will have lots of support and quality training to make a success of it.

Ideally, you've already got some experience catering for older people in a care home or similar setting, but more important is your enthusiasm and commitment to food.

You'll be a valued member of a friendly, close-knit team keen to progress in your career, but most importantly to do your bit to improve the nutrition of older people.

Salary is plus Shetland Island Allowance of £2,541 pro rata per annum.
