Pool Lecturer - Carpentry & Joinery
Temporary Contract
Up to 35 hours available per week
£35,170 - £43,357 per annum pro rata
To supplement our existing staff team within the Department of Construction Trades Technology, we would welcome applications from those interested in the above-mentioned subject area.
With a broad demonstrable practical experience in the relevant discipline, you will have the skills necessary to support the teaching and development of the curriculum area, hold a recognised industry qualification and have post qualified industry work experience.
You should be qualified to HNC level (SCQF level 7) or an equivalent level of qualification (eg Advanced Craft etc) in the named discipline or an appropriate field. Possession of a teaching qualification, and assessor or verifier units would be advantageous, and ideally you will have experience in delivering and developing the Further Education curriculum.
An effective communicator and a highly motivated individual, you will have a passion for the subject and the ability to work to deadlines both within a team setting, and on your own.
