Finance Assistant

Part Time Role - Fixed Term Contract - £25- £30k (based on full time hours) depending upon experience.
***Meraki Talent are delighted to be engaged on a new Finance Assistant role based in Glasgow City centre. The role is a fixed term contract on part time hours. The working days for this role are Tuesday-Thursday


The Company
This client is a great company who are constantly growing and expanding. They are an award-winning digital agency and are looking for a new Finance Assistant to join their finance team.


The Role
***The Accounts Assistant role has the following duties:
  • To manage and maintain the AR ledger in Sage
  • Produce Sales invoices and credits and issue to clients on a timely basis
  • Check coding of all Sales invoices
  • Daily Bank reconciliation and posting of entries onto Sage
  • Month end review of billing
  • Evaluating credit terms for new and existing clients
  • Liaising with Customers on a timely basis to resolve any billing queries
  • Reconciliation of Sales ledger
  • Prepare weekly cashflow file for Financial Controller to review
  • Establish strong working relationships with clients as well as internal stakeholders
  • Support Purchase ledger as required
  • Support the monthly MI reporting for Senior Management team
  • Month end journal postings
  • Ad hoc project work as required
To be successful in this role you must have a minimum of 12 months experience. With a can-do attitude and the ability to prioritise your own workload. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work individually as well as within a team.
