The successful applicants will work within a merged service comprising of Crisis Resolution Home Treatment and a Psychiatric Liaison Service.

The Liaison and Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) provides a service offering comprehensive assessment, treatment and care of service users who are experiencing severe mental health difficulties within both the community and district general hospital setting within Gwent.


The service also facilitates the early discharge of those admitted to Mental Health inpatient units, through intensive but time limited interventions in the community.


An exciting opportunity for a permanent post has arisen within the Crisis Liaison Team based in St Cadocs Hospital with cover required at the newly built Grange University Hospital in Llanfrechfa.

The successful applicant must be highly motivated, innovative, enthusiastic and passionate about service user centered care.

You will be committed to ensuring the delivery of safe, high quality care and contribute to the development of the Crisis Liaison service across Gwent.

This position is open to Professional Qualified Mental Health Workers including Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers. The Crisis Liaison service operates a twenty four hour service, 7 days per week across a shift system.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
