An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and effective leader to take on the Head of School position and work alongside the Executive Headteacher to ensure a focused and rigorous drive on the quality of education and outcomes for students.
· Ensure a clear direct and rigorous focus on the quality of education and the day-to-day effectiveness of the school provision.
· Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to embed and promote the vision and values of the school.
· Develop yourself and your team, maintaining a culture of high expectations of yourself and of others.
· Ensure the safety and welfare of all students, promoting a secure and nurturing school environment that celebrates diversity, inclusion and equality.
Mount Tamar and the staff team have already worked hard to establish the foundations for an effective improvement journey and have undertaken significant work and development to begin to shape the future of what the provision could be in order to provide the best possible opportunities for the students you serve. The successful candidate will work alongside the Executive Headteacher to continue this improvement journey ensuring sustained, consistent and high quality curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment in all areas of the school.
The Head of School will bring a compelling blend of professional ability, focus and ambition to the school. They will be a high visible leader within the school and will work with The Executive Headteacher to ensure effective purpose, prioritisation and transition whilst also working with leaders across the Trust to collaborate, share and ensure the school benefits from the opportunities available within the wider Trust.
