This busy, successful and expanding international business are seeking an accounts focused, organised and autonomous Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis to support the smooth running of a busy department.

Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant includes:
Supervise daily activities of the finance team and provide support as needed.
Daily cash flow and finance utilisation update
Raise trade finance loans and letters of credit as required. Manage all HSBC queries, liaising with the FD and wider finance team as needed.
Manage year end audit and preparation of the statutory accounts with support from FD
Review & Management of VAT and other statutory taxes

Review month-end overhead accruals including analysis completed by assistant accountant and evaluate variances to be communicated with the month-end pack.

Maintenance of invoice discounting accounts and monthly reconciliations
Fixed Asset, depreciation and amortisation review, journal postings and reconciliations
Manage all payroll queries.
Preparation and distribution of the monthly management pack for review by the FD and the SMT
Weekly and Monthly FX updates and reconciliation
Balance sheet reconciliations
Production and monitoring of monthly management accounts and variance analysis where required.
Process improvement implementation and review

Excellent interpersonal skills - able to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management
Strong commercial acumen
Excel - Intermediate
Experience of working in a high performing finance team
