As a Registered Nurse (Adult) youll be an integral part of the healthcare team at HMP Altcourse by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care. You could be involved in anything from developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency. Hours: This role is offered on a Bank basis, working night shifts. Salary: This position is on a Bank basis, and youll receive an hourly rate of How will we support you?

Main duties of the job

As our new Bank Night Nurse, you will have varying responsibilities. Some of your duties will include:

Attend emergency situations as required

Assess patients and undertake reception screening

Undertake medication rounds

Dispense controlled medication

Be a Registered (Adult) Nurse with NMC Registration

Have evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD)

Be understanding of the complexities of working in a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency environment

Be able to deliver non-judgemental, compassionate care to patients
