People Administrator - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Canary Wharf)

Hours: 40 per week, 08.30am pm Monday to Friday


Duties & Responsibilities


The People Administrator role is pivotal in providing a proactive and accurate HR service to our people through our end-to-end administration processes, covering starters, leavers, movers, payroll and benefits, as well as HRIS (People HR) database maintenance.

Reporting into the Head of People Operations, this role will also be the first contact point for employees across the company, and processing the day-to-day general queries to deadline and with exceptional attention to detail.

Time management and organisational skills are critical for this role.

The day-to-day of the role will look like this:


  • Managing the team's group mailbox on a daily basis, as well as taking action on all HR queries from the business, escalating to the Head of People Operations when needed. Ensuring all queries are managed within the appropriate timeframe.
  • Managing and processing the endtoend on
- and off-boarding administration processes, as well as other people administration processes. This includes producing all relevant paperwork, updating employee and payroll databases and all HR systems with starters, leavers and employee changes.

  • Taking ownership of endtoend benefits administration, including annual renewal processes and daytoday administration.
  • Supporting with employee relations cases, including attending hearings to take minutes and supporting on capability cases.
  • Supporting the People Director with adhoc project work as required.
  • Providing management information and reporting on an adhoc and regular basis.

Skills & Experience

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally, with confidence to communicate with all stakeholders across the business
  • A highly organised and experienced People Administrator
  • Strong problemsolving skills with a passion for dealing with openended, even ambiguous challenges
  • Highly organised, flexible team player with excellent prioritisation, strong followup skills and an eye for detail
  • Experience working with People HR system is desirable
  • Experience working in fastpaced and agile teams
  • Level 3 CIPD or equivalent is desirable but not essential
