    Senior Procurement Manager | London Office/ Hybrid Working Home based (twice a week in office) Up to £65,000 per annum + benefits.

    Overview:

    This is a great opportunity to step into a Senior Procurement Manager role with variety This well recognised housing association brand who are growing their Procurement team is now looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to work across a variety of spend. Experience across large complex public sector projects and PCR 15 experience is crucial to this role.

    A broader commercial procurement approach, innovative thinking and collaborative approach will be successful in this role. The team are also developing plans around social value, sustainability, ESG so this is a brilliant opportunity to be involved in further carving this out.

    The role will play a critical role in optimising value and mitigating risk across various projects and will have three direct reports.

    What the role involves:

    • As a Procurement Manager you will be leading on procurement projects for various areas of spend. For example, projects across FM, Repairs, Construction, IT, Sales, Marketing.
    • Deliver a responsive, high quality, commercial and customer focused procurement service
    • Manage, monitor, and coordinate the procurement forward plan.
    • Developing and delivering effective sourcing strategies to deliver cost savings and added value.
    • Actively manage strategic relationships with suppliers and lead on commercial negotiations.
    • Have strong knowledge of Public Procurement Regulations and internal Group policies.
    • Leading high value, complex procurement projects in line with Public Contracts Regulations.
    • Creation and implementation of key processes to support the Procurement function.
    • Managing a team of high performing procurement professionals and supporting their development.
    • Lead the team in developing and delivering the procurement programme through an effective business partnering approach.

    The person we hope to find:

    • Strong end to end generalist procurement experience across indirect or direct services
    • Excellent communication skills and able to work with all levels of management and stakeholders
    • Ideally Public sector procurement background with experience in a highly regulated environment
    • Experience of Public Contract Regulations is a must
    • Experience of developing and embedding third party management frameworks
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Well organised, process and team-oriented with the ability to prioritise quickly
    • Highly motivated self-starter: ability to initiate and manage work with minimal supervision
    • Commercially aware and financially astute
