As the HR Officer you will be the main point of contact for all HR related queries within the school and report into the Regional HR Manager.


This role is an ideal step up for an experienced HR Officer/Generalist/Advisor looking to progress and learn with fantastic potential for the future within the group of schools.

You will be responsible for managing the HR function, with the full support of the regional HR team.

This role involves a wide variety of HR, you have the flexibility to really make it your own and grow your skills in HR.


Duties will include:

  • Implementation of induction process for new staff, governors and visitors
  • Organising probation meetings
  • Ensuring employee details are maintained within the HR portal
  • Overseeing staff attendance procedures
  • Monitoring / recording annual leave
  • Letters and appointments for employees, including carrying out vetting checks such as DBS, right to work, references and qualifications
  • Managing payroll, checking salary reports, reconciling monthly figures and supporting the finance officer
  • Coordinating the performance management process and staff training, ensuring staff have completed training modules relevant to their role
  • Awareness around the responsibility for safeguarding the children, supporting the Safeguarding Policy


This school is looking for someone with a passion for HR, who has been responsible for a variety of HR duties, and confident with being the point of call for all HR queries at the school.

You will be fully supported and trained by the regional HR team and internal office team at the school.
