    Senior Quality Engineer

    Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire

    Working as part of the JRL Modular Quality Team you shall be a quality advocate driving improvements, providing guidance to the teams and improve RFT during product implementation.

    You will also:

    • Oversee and implement robust quality systems and processes to ensure that our products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations in relation to quality and reliability.
    • Design and implement quality control measures within the manufacturing process, analyse data to identify areas of improvement and work as part of a cross functional team to drive customer focus, OTD and RFT.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Designing and Implementing robust quality control procedures and testing protocols at each process within the build sequence during the NPI process.
    • Conducting quality audits, reviewing data and analytics and make recommendations for process improvements.
    • Developing and executing comprehensive test plans to identify and address product defects and issues.
    • Leading and mentoring junior quality engineers, providing guidance and support on complex projects and initiatives.
    • Partnering with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, develop robust corrective actions and timely resolution.
    • Developing and maintaining documentation related to quality systems and processes.

    Required Knowledge & Skills:

    • Minimum of 5 years experience working in a Quality Engineering Role.
    • Batchelors or Advanced Degree in Engineering or related field.
    • Experience in Manufacturing industry.
    • Certifications/Experience in Quality, Quality Engineering, Engineering, Lean Six Sigma that are recognised as industry standard.
    • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrate leadership ability.
    • Able to manage multiple projects to ensure on-time delivery.
    • Familiar with NPI, FMEA, SPC and APQP.
    • Client relationship building.
    • Able to lead and mentor junior engineers.
