    Position Title: Logistic Supply Operative

    Line Manager: Depot Logistic Coordinator

    Department: Logistics

    JDT Op Group: Specialist Engineering Group / Connections North

    JDT Salary Band: 7 from £27,000- 31,500 per annum based on skillset and experience.

    Seeking: We are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active and confident individual to join our busy and friendly team in Westerham. The right candidate will have great organisational and communication skills; with the ability to efficiently navigate around IT equipment such as laptop and I-Pad.

    Job Purpose: Accountable to the Depot Logistic Coordinator for the effective and efficient delivery of technical logistic support services to JDT's Operations Groups and including: maintenance & calibration of equipment (incl safety critical equipment i.e PAMs) and routine on-site support to engineering teams to enable Operations Groups to achieve their directed targets, whilst ensuring compliance, safety, efficiency and cost-effective utilisation of JDT assets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Deliver technical logistic support as directed by the Depot Logistic Coordinator (DLC).

    2. Plan, programme and deliver equipment calibration service for Op Gp Teams as directed by the DLC and in conjunction with requirements of specific PMs/ Team Ldrs ensuring compliance in maintained.

    3. Liaise with Op Gps and external suppliers (of hired/owned equipment) to ensure required availability /compliance is maintained.

    4. Provide, replace, and deliver (to sites) equipment as required / directed to ensure engineering outputs are maintained.

    5. Understand and comply with all safety regulations, relating to the delivery, (incl transportation) of equipment and resources. (Owned and hired)

    6. Ensure the safe keeping, maintenance and accounting (using relevant systems - i.e. Control Hub) of all depot assets.

    7. Maintain the upkeep, safety and tidiness of the vehicle (incl stores contained) provided for role and comply with health & safety, transport and fire regulations.

    8. Driving in a safe manner following all driving regulations in compliance with company policies.

    9. Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures.

    10. Upholding and promoting the company image as a safe and secure driver whilst maintaining positive relationships with the public.

    11. Assist DLC as required in the ongoing delivery of logistic support.

    12. Contribute to and support a diverse and inclusive working environment for all employees.
