Description
This is an exciting time to join the resourcing team. The resourcing team provides a service to South London & Maudsley NHS Trust.

It delivers an excellent service provision of all recruitment services and across the Trust, including business as usual recruitment and project recruitment.

The team consists of a recruitment services team lead, recruitment specialists and recruitment coordinators. Together we deliver a first class resourcing service to all our stakeholders across the Trust.


Reporting to the Recruitment Specialist, the post holder will work in partnership with divisional service managers and the Recruitment Services Team Lead to deliver a proactive first class recruitment service across the divisions.

This includes advising on processes and supporting recruiting managers with their recruitment activities, completing pre-employment checks and ensuring all new starters are processed in time for payroll.


The post-holder will be supporting and working on key work-streams and projects enabling the recruitment team to deliver high volume and streamlined recruitment services across the Trust and help to reduce time to hire and agency spend.

Additionally, the post-holder will be comfortable with working at pace and to agreed timelines. Experience of high-volume recruitment and knowledge of conversion processes is an advantage but not essential.


About the location:

The post will be based at Maudsley Hospital in Denmark Hill.


It should be noted that this role is currently hybrid working with 2 days on site and 3 days working from home.

To oversee the recruitment service and pathway from advert through to employment for permanent, fixed term, and secondments. This will include managing recruitment activities and providing advice and guidance to applicants and recruiting managers.


To ensure a high quality and timely recruitment service in accordance with the agreed standards of practice, key performance indicators and portfolio of services.


Effectively co-ordinate recruitment campaign activities and ensuring a timely delivery of advertising, shortlisting, interview set-ups, offers and support with assessment centres.

This includes timely completion of activities and required action ensuring on time and successful campaign completion.


To ensure that high standards of service delivery and quality standards are maintained in the areas of recruitment and selection.

This includes educating and influencing recruiting managers regarding recruitment and selection best in class practices.
