What will my role look like?
Our Real Estate Finance Team is expanding and we are looking for a Group Spend Data Managerto join us

In this role you will be managing the Real Estate finance data across the EG Group, including the management of reports configured in SAP across all the ledgers including AP, GL and the SAP Fixed Asset Module.

Working with country accountants and analyststo primarily hold the fixed asset and leases data, consolidate and manage the one version of correct data for the group.

What would my main responsibilities be?

Reporting experience in SAP creating new reports, understanding requirements from end users. An example would be to help develop cash forecast and cash paid for CAPEX. Some transactions can be learned, but an overall understanding of generating reportsin SAP would be necessary.
Be the expert on SAP data extraction across different ledgers including the module for Fixed Assets. The transactional nature of SAP Fixed Asset module is unique and running transactions in SAP. Specific transactions for Fixed Assets can be learned, butwould be ideal if the reporting needs of the function can be developed within the team.
Solving data query problems the team presents, such as mapping AP data to PO data and finally the SAP fixed assets module.
Involvement in SAP migration data transfer to new SAP S4 Hannah working with accountants to reconcile the transfer data and sign off complete. Another example would be Track sites, Leased Vs Freehold calculate the change required to write down assetsaligning with leases if lower than Useful Economic Life. Working with the accountants and analysts develop the right data to feed models for calculating UELs.
Support Managers in Group to deliver cleaned data
Commercial, Finance, Construction.
Generate financial insights identifying key variances, trends, risks and opportunities for the business working with the Commercial manager and analysts, working as a team to understand where we are Vs where we need to be.
Build link with all individuals within the team
Financial Controller, Accountants, Senior Analysts and Analysts this will be all encompassing role, serving the full team and making sure the cleansed data is available to the team in a timely manner.
Help conduct and replicate audit / analytical review so our registers are cleaned and ready for monthly accounts and annual audit. Advise the team when postings are not been logged properly. Helping the team transact in SAP Assets Under Construction, Disposals,Transfers, Impairments etc.
Hold the FAR model data source and consolidate to a group policy standard aligning data / SAP extracts to help the finance team access correct data in a timely manner e.g. month end data and hold an archive for historic data.

Qualified accountant +2 years post qualified experience, with experience in SAP Reporting development.
SAP experience and manipulation of reports in SAP would be a benefit.
