    Description

    The position of a Finance Control Analyst is based from our Bolton, Greater Manchester site with the option of Hybrid working.

    This position is ideal for a junior accountant with some experience working in a similar role within a large organisation.

    The role includes...

    Controlling USGAAP/Primary GL transaction functions including month end and year end activities
    Review of monthand year end journals in Primary Ledger:
    Fixed asset/Rebate/Cash Management accounting
    Accruals and Prepayments accounting
    Payroll journals and processing, bonus accounting
    Inventory provisions/Other accruals/provisions in general
    Ensure timely and accuracy of financial results including Balance Sheet positions.
    USGAAP and STAT Accounting
    Review and support the STAT chart of accounts and accounting
    Review and support to mapping between STAT and USGAAP accounting
    Maintenance and continuous improvement of BS/P&L accounts
    Audit and Internal Controls support
    Handling audit queries (internal and external)
    Preparation of audit and reconciliation schedules
    Support STAT Financial Statements
    Deal with external auditors
    Support on local Corp Tax
    Support to ICO reconciliations for external audit
    Support to local business finance partners
    Handing queries from various Finance, Commercial and Operation managers
    Alignment of Chart of Accounts to Business needs
    Finance Transformation
    Support to FT projects and implementation
    We are ideally looking for...

    Bachelors degree with Minimum of 2 years GL accounting / Certified accountant
    Post graduate degree or Masters degree
    Previous experience working in an audit environment or a multinational organization some experience of finance/accounting
    Experience Oracle ERP accounting.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Can communicate financials and related issues in clear business language.
    Ability to work constructively at all organizational levels, from plant operators to senior executives.
    Drive and assertiveness to achieve work deadline and performance goals.
