We are looking for driven, ambitious consultants to join our team in our Alloa based office, in September 2023. After the successful completion of your initial six months training you will also be able to take advantage of our 9 day working fortnight initiative giving you every second Friday off and essentially 54 days holiday (no weekend working required)


What is the job?


As a Sales Consultant at Bon Accord Life it will be your job to build meaningful relationships with customers through both warm and cold data in order to find the right insurance products for their needs.


On an average day you will...

  • Make cold calls to our older data to optimise opportunities for sales.
  • Make outbound calls to new customers from our web enquiries, asking appropriate questions to understand the customers needs and presenting a suitable solution
  • Contact customers who have had an issue with their payment to resolve the issue and ensure the policy is continuing to meet their needs
  • Handle client queries or objections to achieve the best possible solution for the client
  • Search the marketplace to source the most competitive quotations
  • Adhere to FCA approved compliance procedures and code of conduct
  • Achieve sales targets by conducting your sales process in a straightforward and positive manner with your customers best interests at the heart of everything you do

The skills and qualities you will need

  • No sales experience is required, you will undergo extensive training delivered by our specialist inhouse trainer to give you all the skills and knowledge required
  • Resilience when dealing with customer rejection (thick skin is required)
  • Persistence and determination when dealing with customer objections
  • Hardworking, with a positive cando attitude

What we can offer you

  • Starting basic salary of £22,000 which can be reviewed up to twice per year depending on performance
  • We have an uncapped bonus structure with realistic earnings between £200 £1500 on top of your salary each month. Year 1 OTE between £25,000 £30,000
