Reserving Actuary

Specialty (Re)insurer - City of London

£90,000 - £110,000Arthur have partnered with a highly respected global specialty (re)insurer to introduce a Reserving Actuary to their well-established reserving team. Reserving is the primary purpose of the role however, there are regular opportunities to support the Pricing,Planning and Capital Modelling teams.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the annual reverse risk parameterisation process.
  • Assist with the parameterisation of the internal model.
  • Prepare quarterly reserve analysis presentations.
  • Support the biannual lost ratio processes.
  • Support the quarterly reserving across multiple lines of business.

From you they are looking:


  • Newly/post qualified actuarial analyst.
  • Actuarial analyst experience in general insurance.
  • A numerate degree achieving a 2:1 or higher.
