Role- FPGA Design Engineer - SC Clearable

Salary- £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location - Surrey

An industry leading engineering specialist based in Surrey are looking to grow their highly skilled, innovative, and enthusiastic engineering team with the addition of an FPGA Design Engineer, as they aim to make a big impact within a global industry.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to all stages of FPGA Firmware Development
• Firmware for high- speed applications in VHDL
• Signal Processing
• Work in a multi-disciplinary team of Hardware, Software, FPGA Engineers
• Collaborate and supporting production team with troubleshooting; ensuring that electronic systems continue to work at a high standard.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
• Firmware Development for FPGA / SoC
• VHDL/ Verilog/ System Verilog
• High-speed serial interfaces
• Electronics Design (PCB Layout/ Schematic Capture)

Any mix of the following is nice to have:

• Xilinx and Lattice FPGAs
• High precision Instrumentation
• Prototcals, USB, Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, sFPDP
