    Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Belfast

    Facilities :

    Their imaging suite includes top-of-the-range ultrasonography, radiography, a CT scanner which is often nurse-led, an MRI scanner which again often nurse-led and endoscopy.

    They have top-of-the-range monitoring equipment to enable efficient anaesthetic monitoring- they have multiple multiparameter machines as well as ECQ and 2 blood pressure machines.


    Team:
    Currently they have 9 Veterinary Surgeons, 13 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Student Veterinary Nurses, 2 Animal Care Assistants, and 10 support staff


    Role :
    Our client is looking for a dedicated and committed Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team

    Hours:

    Ideally working up to 40 hours per week across an 8-week rolling rota, with 1:4 weekends & a share of the OOH rota with plenty of time back after/before the weekend and out-of-hours work.

    They can consider part-time hours and flexible working as they understand the importance of balancing home life with your work life and would be happy to discuss how they can fix and flex their rota patterns to suit you.

    Patient nursing including critical care patient nursing, scrub nurse duties, patient triage, blood sampling and catheter placement, anaesthetics of mainly small animals and occasionally exotics, radiography, lab and microscope work, reception duties, puppy socialisation classes and importantly maintaining health and safety standards and hygiene protocols.


    Salary :
    Up to £30,000 p/a Depending on experience
