Job summary
This is an exciting time for the development of the CAMHS Early Help Team in the South East. We are seeking a Practitioner Psychologist to join our leadership MDT to diversify our Early Help offer and further develop the Service with psychologically informed perspectives.
Main duties of the job
To offer initial assessments to children and young people to formulate their needs and allocate the most appropriate care pathway for their needs and goals.
To deliver group-based interventions in line with our care pathways, for example, DNAV groups and NVR groups.
To deliver short term individual work where appropriate.
To support the safe and effective transfer of cases between internal parts of the service as well as with other agencies where appropriate.
To receive and deliver effective clinical supervision.
To take an active leadership role in the development of the Early Help service in the South-East and to support to the clinical governance of the service.
To undertake training relevant to the role and to support in delivering training where appropriate.
