- Install string cables onto photovoltaic (PV) array tables.
- Terminate DC mains cables at combiner boxes and inverter stations.
- Make off MC4 connectors at panels and combiner boxes.
- Terminate communication cables (RS485, CAT5, CAT6).
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of PV solar systems according to the latest edition of BS EN (phone number removed) and other relevant standards.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and industry standards.
- NVQ (preferred or on route to doing)
- ECS card (of some grading)
- 2-3 years experience
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work (solar experience is a bonus).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving license.
- 23 days holidays + bank holidays.
- Good competitive pension.
- My client offers full certifications & training courses.
- Vehicle allowance + 25p per mile or Company van and fuel card.
- Working hours; 7am-5pm with an hour for lunch, Mons-Thurs, 7am-2pm on Fridays.
- Overtime will be paid, 1x3 weekend work with travel expenses + £25 per day upfront food costs, if required to stay away.
