- 2 years or more of proven experience as a full-time Audio-Visual Installation Engineer
- Experience with construction and design/build industry
- Experience working on construction sites and with hand tools
- Knowledge of AV equipment
- Some ability to troubleshoot Networks and AV equipment
- Ability to think and work independently
- Wiring and termination skills as well as proper installation techniques of all AV equipment
- Strong Excellent written and oral communication skills
- interpersonal and customer service skills
- Experience in reading/understanding architecture, electrical, structural & AV systems drawings
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Analytical and problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
- PC and Network knowledge
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer)
- Self-starter with keen attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks to project timelines
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Work to deliver AV solutions that are simple to use
- Proficiency in installing complex systems, installing projection & audio systems, networking, security and surveillance systems, and some light control system programming experience preferred
- Attention to detail, job-site cleanliness, and safety
- Installation of structured cabling to include pulling, terminating and testing
- Installation of all AV equipment including audio and video equipment, distributed audio, control systems
- Wall mounting of TV's
- Communicate with project managers
- Follow all safety guidelines and client requirements

As an AV Engineer at this company, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining audio-visual systems for educational institutes. Your role will involve installation, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and upgrades of hardware and equipment. Additionally, you will troubleshoot issues, assist end users, and provide training as needed.
