Accounts Assistant / Accounts AdministratorFull time Position
Monday - Friday 9am to 5:30pm
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant / Administrator to support the Financial Director in the running of the accounting function for the business.
Sales Ledger - posting sales invoices, allocating receipts, checking PO's, Chasing debtors, monthly statement submissionsPurchase Ledger - posting purchase invoices, matching to POs, Supplier payments, checking creditor statements
On-line electronic banking
Month and year end reconciliations
Payroll, management of personnel records via Bright HR, hours weekly reporting
Ideally fully AAT qualified at a minimum with strong bookkeeping
You must be fully competent in Xero cloud accounting software (or QuickBooks)
Ability to create pivots/lookup/bespoke reports in Excel is essential
Experience in a similar role would be ideal as this role is integral to the smooth running of the business and the person appointed will have considerable responsibility for the accounting function
