If so, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you to join us in our Liverpool-based food manufacturer whose people are the key to its success.

We are looking for a HR Officer to join our team on a full-time or part time ( minimum 4 days per week), permanent basis and in return will receive a competitive salary.

Key duties and responsibilities of our HR Officer:

This is a standalone role in which you would be responsible for the operational delivery of the Human Resources function.

As our HR Officer you will need to be as comfortable dealing with the administrative side of HR as getting involved in the bigger picture in order to improve things.

You will work closely and collaboratively with senior managers and team leaders by providing sound advice and guidance to support efficiencies and productivity in employees through best class HR practices and HR service delivery.


Required skills and experience you need to become our HR Officer:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or above
  • Experience of working in a unionised environment, ideally within manufacturing (desirable)
  • Significant generalist HR experience, including specific working knowledge of employee relations, recruitment and learning and development
  • The role requires someone who enjoys being handson in the factory environment, talking to all levels of staff from those who work on the factory floor to the CEO, in a relaxed, informal but challenging environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations
  • Proficient & broad understanding of HR systems and processes
  • Well organised with excellent administration skills
  • You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and a positive approach to all areas of your work
  • Professional, discreet and solid understanding of the importance of confidentiality
  • Proficient in MS Office including Excel and the ability to manage and work with data.

Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 24-38 per week


Salary: 29, ,000.00 per year
