Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Showsec for a Security Supervisor at the Lowry theatre.

This role reports to the Operations Executive and includes managing staff, maintaining safety protocols, and complying with company policies and legislation.

What you will be doing:

Ensure the smooth running and highquality delivery of the security operation at the Lowry
Responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of staff at events
Comply with all Company policies and procedures relating to the role, including laws and regulatory influences
Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders including the client, staff members and the Operations team
Provide both briefings and debriefings to the workforce under your agreed remit, on both general and specific matters affecting the safety and security of each event
Monitor staff rota's, planning ahead to cover annual leave whilst ensuring fairness at all times
Absence management including return to work interviews, liaising with the HR department as required
Respond to internal and external communications in a timely manner, including making arrangements for periods outside of usual working hours when required and/or arranging the appropriate cover for periods of leave
Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, ensuring you effectively communicate at all levels whilst maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality
Assist the responsible Operations Executive as directed
Any other duties commensurate with the post

Hourly rate of £12.2 72 hours per week with 6 days on 3 days off including days and nights shift pattern
