Tradewind are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated General Teaching Assistant to work at a highly-regarded 2 form entry school in Enfield.

This is a full-time role to start as soon as possible, and is initially for the rest of the academic year withthe potential for a permanent contract thereafter.


Responsibilities:


  • Work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis to provide support across the curriculum
  • Assist the class teacher with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students with additional needs and behaviour management
  • Liaise with parents and carers as required

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or similar role
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient and empathetic approach to working with children
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
