Service Standards Assessor required to work with a Government department. This is an initial 3 month contract, paying £450 a day, inside IR35, predominantly remote working.Service standards remain the most effective way across government to ensure services are delivered to a consistently high standard.
Service assessments are an essential tool in helping teams to meet the required standard and governance criteria.
Central Digital seeks to increase the number of services undergoing assessments; improve the experience and value of assessment; keep better track of products across their lifecycles; and increase the number of trained assessors.
The Operations Manager will be a part of the service standards team in Central Digital working to achieve these outcomes.
They will be expected to:
- Coordinate and schedule service assessments
- Manage provision and access to assessment material
- Support assessors and service team being assessed
- Support panel in completing and disseminating final report
- Attend service assessments and support where necessary
- Organise training of assessors
- Interact with a wide range of people and organisations including the different professions, CDDO and other
- Deliver activities to support the innovation of service standards
- Maintain visibility of services requiring assessment
- Gather and provide feedback on various processes with a view to iterating and improving
- Collate, analyse and report key performance indicators
- Deputise for the Service Standards Lead when necessary.
- You have a good understanding of the Government Service Standard and Service Manual.
- You can devise new and innovative ways of working to achieve the right outcomes.
- You can confidently act as an advocate for service standards and assessments.
- You can communicate effectively through written means and presentations.
- You can bring insight and ideas on how service assessments can be delivered effectively.
- You are highly organised with superior attention to detail.
- You are accessible and collaborative, and open to challenge.
- You are familiar with working with data and can collate
