Halliday Marx are excited to partner with an established business within the Sports Industry to recruit a newly qualified Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, this is an integral role as you will provide accurate and timely financial information across the business allowing them to make insightful and strategic decisions.

Your key duties will include, but not be limited too;

Preparation of the monthly management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet, Commentary and Analysis
Support the Finance Manager with the monthly consolidations and analysis
Support and assist with the preparation of the annual budget
Assist and support the annual audit
Prepare forecasts and reforecasts
Work closely alongside the Sales and Commercial functions to support wider modelling needs
Create, provide and analyse business models to present to business departments and heads to support strategic decision making
Adhoc projects and tasks are required
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work autonomously, but collaborate and support the wider team and finance function
Analytical Thinker exceptional attention to detail

People Driven

Business Partner with all levels of an organisation, build relationships and communicate financial and non financial information
Previous experience of Navision would be desirable
Advanced Excel including macro level
