An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated person with experience of leading staff working within a busy administrative environment to provide administrative and project support in the delivery of Weight Management and Diabetes Services across Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.


The post holder will bejoining our friendly Multi-disciplinary team of admin & clerical (A&C) staff, dietitians, dietetic support workers, physiotherapist and psychologists as part of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics team.


You should possess exceptional computer skills as well as a sound knowledge of clinical information systems such as Welsh PAS, ESR and use of Microsoft software.

You should be able to work autonomously as well as within departmental guidelines.

Our supportive department actively encourages staff development, providing the successful applicant with a wide variety of development opportunities.

To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Weight Management and Diabetes Service.

This will include the provision of a comprehensive secretariat function necessary to support the work of the Directorate, and will include:


  • Providing secretariat support for the Dietetic Professional Manager, Projects and Programmes.
  • Collation of agendas, papers and slide packs for project meetings, including the timely production and management of action logs.
  • Organising meetings.
  • Providing Administrative Assistant support to the professional services manager in the Directorate
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
