- To besuccessful in the Senior Data Scientist role you will have thefollowing:
- Ph.D. or MS.c with equivalentresearch experience in a relevant quantitative discipline (e.g.Computer Science Computational Biology Genetics BioinformaticsPhysics Engineering or Applied Statistics/Mathematics)
- Proven experience using advanced statistical techniquesmachine learning and modern deep learning techniques.
- Previous ML work experience in scientific/academicenvironment (RA/Internships are considered as workexperience)
- Strong knowledge of Pythonincluding core data science libraries such as ScikitLearn SciPyTensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Knowledge of softwaredevelopment good practices and collaboration tools includinggitbased version control python package management and codereviews.
- Excellent communication skills withthe ability to explain complex machine learning algorithms andstatistical methods to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Evidence of related work experience as a researcher inthe area of Machine learning
- Strongpublication record first author positionideal
- Ability toquickly understand scientific technical and process challenges andbreakdown complex problems into actionable steps
- Ability to work in a frequently changing environment withthe capability to interpret management information to amendplans
- Ability to prioritize manage workloadand deliver agreed activities consistently on time
