Accounts Receivable Assistant | Rapid-Growth Luxury Fashion Business | London (hybrid)


Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working with one of the world's emerging luxury fashion and accessories brands in their search for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their expanding team.

The business is a well-established brand with a strong,loyal client base.


Founded in Britain, their designs soon reached all corners of the globe, surpassing £120million global turnover in 2021, with domestic sales soaring by 30% last year.

2023 presents our client with further opportunities for record-breaking revenue, as theydesire to continue their quest to become an industry giant, assisted with a mixture of huge organic growth, as well as private equity funding.


In this role, you will be working closely with the Finance Manager to guarantee a consistent cash-flow that ensures the company's long-term growth remains a primary objective.

There is also huge scope for progression within the role, with the opportunityto eventually work with the month-end process and assist with management accounts.


The role is well-suited to someone who enjoys an SME environment which allows them to work autonomously within a small close-knit team.

Based from brand new modern offices in West London, the working arrangement remains flexible, allowing for 2 days workfrom home.


Responsibilities

  • Posting and reviewing employee and business expenses
  • Working with Worldpay for bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Acting as the main point of contact for payment queries from internal teams, clients and suppliers
  • Liaising with the cash collection company
  • Chasing aged debt
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with various ad hoc duties

Essential qualities

  • 2 years' experience working in accounts receivable
  • Experience working within a retailbased finance team
  • ERP system skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Passion for the fashion space
  • Fantastic communication skills

Desirable qualities

  • Actively studying towards AAT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA

Salary:
£25,000-£30,000 + study support
