GLL is looking for a Diving Coach at Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre in Walthamstow. We're managing more sports and leisure centres than ever before making us the UK's largest leisure operator.

Our key sports are football, netball, basketball, gymnastics / trampolining and swimming / diving, but whichever of these you coach, you'll do so with passion and enthusiasm.

You will need to have a minimum Level 2 Certificate for this Diving Coach opportunity and understand the SEQ/ASA/STA Diving Awards and British Diving skills techniques; this will ensure that you can comfortably deliver high-quality sessions at a variety of levels, abilities and age groups from children through to experienced adults.

What you will do:

Maintain a good and positive image of the Centre to customers and the public generally by providing a welcoming, helpful and professional poolside service.
Comply with the commitments outlined in the 'Customer Charter', ensuring that standards are maintained as stipulated.
Ensure the safety and control of the pupils within the diving lesson and to ensure that all relevant regulations applicable to the centres operation are enforced and complied with.
Actively encourage pupils to enrol on further courses and short courses.
Assist with newenrolments and reenrolments as required by the General Manager.
Understand and follow the Safeguarding Policy and Procedure & Behaviour policy contained within the Diving School product.
Record and complete relevant awards in line with expected standards, ensuring that the levels are obtained
Teach to the standard set within the product manual to ensure a consistent approach throughout all the centres.
