Description
A Japanese IT company based in central London is currently looking for a Security Specialist.

You will be secondment to work for a key Japanese customer as spearhead onsite staff within managing information security service.

The customer is in London andthe scope of work is for London and EMEA business.

Verbal tests of information security management and IT knowledge will be conducted in the interview stage.


TYPE:
FTC (12 months with customer + 1-month internal training), full-time


WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday


SALARY:
up to £60K depending on experience, plus good benefits


START: 1st March 2023 (TBC)


LOCATION:
London (both their office and their customer site)


Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, facilitate, collaborate, follow through, review and report information security programs
  • Stakeholders are the customer Japan HQ policy creators and auditors, customer European office IT staffs, customer staffs and their security and engineering team
  • Compliance assessment against corporate policies and best practices
  • Corrective action planning and management of noncompliances as well as vulnerabilities
  • Regular status reporting
  • Security system planning
  • Security culture shaping
  • Incident response planning and execution
  • Analysis of various system logs
  • Ad hoc requests from your line manager
  • Good general IT security knowledge such as Zero Trust, Phishing, Ransomware, EDR, SASE, (D)DOS, BEC, APT, SPF, IDP, PKI and E2EE
  • Information security program management experience such as program planning, risk mitigation planning, gap analysis, incident response, education and exercise
  • Ability to appreciate challenges and to learn fast
  • Administration skill to create, organise and maintain records
  • Good communication skill
  • Significant experience in both information security management and IT system management
