** £350 - £425 per week

The Learning Support Assistant:


To be eligible for this Learning Support Assistant role, you must be a Level 3 Learning Support Assistant with experience working with pupils with additional needs.

You should have a solid understanding of the SEMH issues that the children you are working withand approach them with a trauma-informed, person-centric mindset.

You should be capable working with the national curriculum up to GCSE level, enabling you to differentiate work to suitably challenge the pupils you are working with.


The Learning Support Assistant Role:


As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, providing academic support or working with pupils pastorally.

Many of these pupils have additional needs, which you will need to be aware of and support accordingly.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will also support teaching staff with delivering high quality lessons, and support with behaviour management, which can be challenging.

This Alternative Provision based in Solihull caters for pupils in KS3 and KS4 with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs that cannot be met by a mainstream setting.
