Senior Consultant / London, Manchester, Belfast or Edinburgh / Hybrid / £37,000 - £44,000

Overview:

My client, a global charitable foundation are looking for a Senior Consultant to join them on a permanent basis.

The main purpose of the role will be to improve capability and compliance with best practice project / programme development and delivery by providing leadership and consultancy, with colleagues globally and the wider operations network, to develop and embedglobal standards and associated resources and ways of working.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Be an active member of their platform community of practice
  • Lead the development and implementation of priority areas as agreed
  • Represent their platform and manage its contributions to relevant working groups that focus on best practice project and programme development and delivery
  • Promote equity, diversity and inclusion, a commitment to antiracism and to safeguarding
  • Be the project lead / manager for an agreed number of important internal initiatives related to global standards
  • Stakeholder management manage key relationships with sector, development, delivery and operations colleagues across the global network
  • Work with the wider operations network to build capacity and capability in assurance and global standards by providing specialist technical consultancy and guidance to colleagues

Skills & Requirements:


  • Programme or Project Management qualification
  • Track record or working with stakeholders to translate policies and requirements into fit for purpose standards and guidance that underpin the business
  • Excellent knowledge of developing and implementing business improvement and best practice with a large organisation
  • Consultancy within the area of applied programme and project management and/or business development
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Package:


  • Monday
  • Friday (9am 5pm)
  • 32 days annual leave + bank holidays
