    There is an exciting permanent opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic RMN or RGN looking for a leadership role in East Kent Place of Safety Team.

    The East Kent Place of Safety is based at St Martins Hospital in Canterburyand manages admissions of individuals who have been detained under section 136 MHA 1983 (as amended

    You will fulfil the role of Nurse in Charge within the Place of Safety, attending to your patients' needs whilst ensuring a safe environment for excellent care.

    You must have post-registration experience including working within a busy acute environment and have completed mentorship training to be able to mentor students.

    You will be involved in and contribute to the Mental Health Act assessment completed as part of the Section 136 process.
