    Logically Applied Solution Ltd. is a specialist fabrication company who conceptualise and fabricate high-end, low volume solutions for various industries, including but not limited to, property development and automotive sectors. Our output is of the highest quality, as demanded by our internal customers. We operate from a modern and highly-equipped workshop in Crowthorne, Surrey.

    With a strong pipeline of current and future projects, LAS are looking for an experienced fabricator welder to join their small but highly skilled team. Most output is bespoke and 'one-off', requiring the candidate to be dynamic, intuitive and a natural problem-solver. Versatility is key to succeed in this role.

    The ideal candidate will have a background in motor racing or aerospace industry (or similar), producing work to exacting standards with a keen attention to detail and working to strict tolerances on all output. The ability to work independently from technical drawings is a key requirement. City & Guilds thin-plate sheet metal working fabrication and/or welding qualification(s) highly desirable.

    Job Title: Fabricator Welder

    Location: Crowthorne

    Work schedule: 42.5 hours per week, 08:00 – 17:00 Monday – Friday inc.

    Other: One 30 minute unpaid break for lunch & two paid 15 minute breaks at fixed times. Overtime hours available, where business requirements permit

    Role Responsibilities / Key Skills

    Highly proficient in three disciplines of welding: TIG, MIG and handheld laser with all types of metals/alloys

    Experience from a motorsport or aerospace background (or similar) highly desirable

    Must be able to work from/understand drawing terminology to BSI and ISO standards

    Versatility is a key factor in this role. i.e. working with a wide range of materials including but not limited to alloys, ferrous metals and wood

    Ability to fettle and hand finish components of which many are of polished/brushed and patterned stainless steel

    Proficient in operating/programming a Hurco Autobend 7 supported hydraulic press brake desirable

    Material cutting on a guillotine cutting machine

    Ability to work on own initiative and perform work unsupervised

    Cleanliness in all work stages critical

    Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office) would be advantageous but not essential

    Flexibility in working out of hours and occasional weekends when business requirements permit

    Some travel may be required for on-site work

    City & Guilds thin-plate fabrication and/or welding desirable
