    Community Host / Leisure Assistant - Turnbridge Wells Grammar School, Tunbridge Wells

    Job Type: Part Time, Zero hour contract

    Salary: £8.60 - £11.44 per hour

    Job Purpose: To warmly welcome our Hirers and their groups to the schools' facilities, ensuring all areas are prepared on time for each group to fully enjoy their visits.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring a top-notch experience for our hirers, guaranteeing all customers have a positive and memorable visit. Assisting with setting up facilities for various events, from preparing sports equipment to managing lighting.
    • Performing light cleaning duties to maintain the school premises, ensuring everything is orderly for the next day without burdening school staff.
    • Prioritizing the security and safety of the school by managing access gates and doors throughout the shift.
    • Conducting regular health and safety inspections, promptly reporting any issues, and upholding the school's standards for everyone's well-being.
    • Receiving thorough training in person and online to understand all aspects of the role, from site familiarity to safety protocols and customer service.
    • Remaining adaptive and collaborative, willing to assist with additional tasks to enhance service quality and support the school community.
