    YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    External Account Manager to join the Pharma BSP Sales team in the UK.

    Role

    • Responsible for the delivery of monthly / quarterly / annual Gross Profit budget
    • Developing Customer relationships using effective sales techniques and the company's sales procedures
    • Manage accounts against set targets, including mandatory face to face sales call quotas each month
    • Business development, prospecting and converting new trading accounts
    • Maintain a sales plan, monitoring and mapping time scales and actions required to achieve growth
    • Maintain Customer Pricing updating and communicating and negotiating where needed
    • Maintain appropriate level of product knowledge, including attendance at product training
    • Continually seek new market and product sales opportunities, recording projects and updating CRM
    • Analysing Monthly Figures of areas trading taking action where appropriate
    • Monitor, evaluate and report on competitor's activities in order to identify sales opportunities
    • Contribute to industry and company product development to maximise sales opportunities
    • Liaise and work closely with other members of the sales team to ensure the customer's requirements are fulfilled efficiently and effectively
    • Completion of Visit Reports on a daily basis, allowing relevant members of the sales support team to follow up any actions
    • Proactively assist in managing Working Capital targets for the depot, including the reduction of bad debtors
    • Contribute to the budgeting process by forecasting sales and profit within the sales area
    • Ensure that the depots operate within the stated company quality assurance procedures and legal requirements at all times.
    • Any other reasonable duties assigned by the Sales Manager and/or BusinessManager as deemed necessary from time to time.

    YOUR PROFILE

    Experience:

    • Previous experience as an Account Manager within the Pharmaceutical/Chemical industry or similar
    • Proven track record in building sales figures and margins within a competitive and mature market
    • Experience of B2B Sales

    Knowledge:

    • Strategic relationship management
    • Pharmaceutical/Chemical Industry
    • Selling principles
    • IT systems e.g. Microsoft Office, CRM, Zoom/Teams etc
