We are currently Recruiting for a Night Shift Production Team Leader to join our team at our Eclipse Factory.

Key responsibilities:


  • Ensure people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet operational requirements
  • Collection and interpretation of production data as well as collection of downtime data and ensuring accurate reporting
  • Ensure team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements
  • Ensure that escalation procedures for quality concerns is followed
  • Working closely with Engineering teams to assist in routine maintenance tasks and plant verification
  • Responsible for training of operators.
  • Hands on Cleaning of machinery and plant
  • Operation of mobile plant as required
  • Adhering to health & safety, quality and environmental systems
  • To deliver through the process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement
  • Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S's housekeeping and environmental management
  • Assist in the development of SSOP's and Risk Assessments
  • Management of contractors on site

Essential qualifications & experience:


  • Ensure effective communications between shifts to maximise factory performance.
  • Encourage and promote team working at all times
  • Identify and solve problems, using resources under your direct control
  • Excellent timekeeping, attendance and flexibility
  • Selfmotivated
  • Numerate & literate.
  • Ability to also work alone.
  • High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
  • Understanding the operation of each machine, to a standard where you are a lead operative across all areas of plant.
  • Willingness to undergo further training and development.

Desirable qualifications & experience:


  • Experience of working in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Any certification for mobile plant is advantageous
  • A recognised upskill.

Training & Development:


  • Multifunctional operation, possibly cross departmental.
  • 5S principles.
  • Localised Health and Safety Procedures.
  • Localised Environmental and Quality Responsibilities.
  • Localised upskilling.
