TEXO Recruitment are looking to recruit an
Inspection Lead on behalf of our
TEXO DSI division. This role is a full time, permanent role reporting into the Divisional Director, based in Westhill, Aberdeen.

Job Purpose:


The Inspection lead is to ensure all inspection operations are run to the TEXO procedures & appropriate body / regulatory guidelines.

This includes ensuring all data is collected to a high standard and delivered to clients to the expected level.

The inspection lead is also responsible for maintaining all required certification for teams and the company to carry out required duties.


Area(s) of Responsibility:


Projects under their direct management are delivered safely in a cost-effective manner, within budget, on time to specification and in a manner that exceeds TEXO Group and the customer requirements.

All required company and personnel certifications are monitored and maintained to ensure business continuity.

Identify areas of potential opportunity to the business and communicate this to the management team to enable implementation.

An inspection lead will be expected to maintain client relations and develop them to aid in procurement of work scopes.


Hands on UAS (DRONE) Inspection Experience essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Technical Authority for Unmanned System based inspection work
  • Managing Memberships, review / update process and procedures for certification bodies
  • Liaising with the Project Management Team
  • Ensuring all equipment is suitable prepared by appropriate personnel for offshore and overseas deployment
  • Planning of resources, plant, material, and consumables for projects
  • Be the focal point for desktop and workshop audits
  • Carry out workplace (site) audits
  • Ensuring that the company exposure to risk is minimized
  • Delivery of projects safely on schedule, to specification and within budget
  • Ensuring that the client's requirements are understood, agreed and clearly communicated to all involved on the project
  • Ensuring that TEXO and Client's quality and HSE requirements are clearly understood, communicated and achieved
  • Quality management, customer care, service performance, HSE implementation and staff development for all those under their control
  • Identify new technologies, methodologies and processes which will keep Texo moving on front of the competitors
  • The identification of sufficient and competent resource to deliver the project and the assignation of individual roles and responsibilities within the project team
  • Establishing close Internal working relationships to enable to fulfil role in achieving the project objectives
  • Establish a close External working relationship with Clients, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers and Third-Party Verification Bodies to enable to achieve the project objectives
  • Providing direction, supervision and support to personnel ensuring their optimum operational efficiency and to encourage the company continuous improvement philosophy
  • Managing the day to day operational aspects of the project work scope for the implementation and collective development of the QHSE management system procedures
