The Space, Defence and Intelligence businessunit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. Due to the secure nature of this projectthis role will require SC security clearance. The role will requireattendance 2 to 3 per week at one of the programmes officelocations in Leatherhead, Reading or Bridgend.

As amember of our team, you'll be at the forefront of upgrading andautomating the installation process for multiple applicationsacross various environments. We're not just stopping there ourexisting .Net applications are getting a major facelift too. We'reuplifting them to the latest version of Visual Studio and ensuringthey're equipped with the latest and greatest libraries andsupporting code.
But here's where it gets interestingwe're not satisfied with manual deployments anymore. Nope, we'removing towards a fully automated CI / CD approach, and we need yourskills to make it happen. Think configurable PowerShell DSC/Ansiblescripts guiding the way as we seamlessly deploy our applicationsacross different environments.

- Non-functional uplift ofexisting .Net and similar applications to use latest supportedversions of tools and libraries
- Application inventoryand scripted install automation using PowerShell DSC andAnsible
- Supporting application deployment through thevarious development, test, and production environments
-Ensure correct documentation is created and kept up to date
Requiredqualifications to be successful in thisrole

- Git or similar source control tool.
