    Description

    Marks Sattin is working in partnership with an established practice who have offices around the UK. This is a permanent role based in Weston. This is a great opportunity for someone to further develop their own skillset & due to the significant growth, our client is looking for an audit senior to join their business on a permanent basis in their Weston office.

    This is an exciting new role in a highly professional and successful Weston Tax team and would likely suit a current audit senior or high performing Tax Senior looking for their next career step or an existing audit senior who is looking to gain new experiences. The role would offer the opportunity to gain experience of work for non-residents and non-domiciled taxpayers and/or trusts and probate work.

    The department acts for a very diverse range of clients including High Net Worth individuals, large professional partnerships, shareholder/directors, non-resident individuals and family trusts as well as having a growing probate practice.

    This role will be paying £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Planning, managing, controlling, and conducting the audit fieldwork for a portfolio of the firm's clients under the direction of the Audit Partners, Directors, and Managers.
    • Preparing financial statements.
    • Managing and developing junior members of the team.
    • Carrying out technical research and providing advice for clients and for other members of the firm.
    • Assisting the Audit Partners in developing the department, together with proposals for new work.
    • Understanding technical matters and presenting them in a logical and practical way.
    • Working on clients across the region, as and when required.
