Social Research Officer - Manchester


Working within a client organisation, based in the Research and Economics business unit, focused on research and analysis to understand the transport needs of the ever-changing needs of consumers.


Location:
Manchester


Salary:
£36,000 - £42,000 basic + Package


Role and responsibilities:


The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a client organisation focusing in their Transportation division on research and analytics.

Working closely with other clients that involves both current and future transportation decisions including LocalAuthorities, TOC's, Network Rail, TfN and the DfT regarding collating and utilising their Data.


The Research and Economics Team are involved with the development of research specifications and methodologies, including working collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Summarising and communicating research outputs to diverse audiences which includeLocal Authorities, TOC's, Network Rail, TfN, DfT and the Public. This includes writing reports, data visualisation, GIS, presentations, and dashboards to analyse the data you have collated.

This role is to focus on collaborating with various stakeholders that are engaged with the transportation sector. Providing the sector research that is used to develop policies, future strategies and long-term programme development to achieve customer satisfactionand economic growth

You don't need to have any Transportation experience as it's the core skill's we are looking for.


Someone that understands the research aspects, how to create a campaign then analyse the data and create a report to pass to the relevant team.


Experience required:


  • A minimum of a HNC or HND or Degree showing Research or similar analyticalbased modules.
  • Supported by experience in a research position previously, ideally in the public sector be it Local Authorities, TOC's, Network Rail, TfN or DfT
